Finding Hope and Support for Pregnancy Decisions During the Holiday Season

The holidays are meant to be a season of light, hope, and togetherness—but if you’re facing an unplanned pregnancy, your season may feel lonely, dark, and hopeless. You may be wondering how you’ll manage, what your future will look like, or where to turn for help.

The Missouri Alternatives to Abortion Program wants you to know that hope and support are closer than you think. You don’t have to face this pregnancy alone or feel pressured toward abortion. There’s a network of care throughout Missouri designed to help women like you find the practical and emotional support needed to continue your pregnancy with confidence.

Support For Your Unique Story

Every pregnancy is unique, and so are the challenges that come with it. Worrying about finances, housing, relationships, or preparing for motherhood can rob you of any excitement and hope you feel about your pregnancy. Thankfully, the MOA2A network connects you to compassionate care and real resources.

Our partner organizations provide support such as:

  • Free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds to confirm your pregnancy and understand your health needs
  • Counseling and emotional support to help you process your feelings and plan your next steps
  • Material assistance, like maternity clothes, baby supplies, diapers, and formula
  • Parenting and life skills classes to help you prepare for the journey ahead
  • Referrals for housing, healthcare, and financial assistance so you can have stability during and after pregnancy

These services are offered to empower you to carry your pregnancy to term with confidence and peace of mind.

Hope Can Be Found in Community

It’s easy to feel isolated during an unexpected pregnancy, especially when others seem to be celebrating. But the truth is, you’re not alone. Across Missouri, caring people and organizations are ready to walk beside you, listen without judgment, and help you take each step at your own pace.

This network exists because your life—and your child’s life—matter. You deserve a supportive community that sees your strength and provides practical ways to help you thrive.

Start with One Step

The hardest part is often reaching out for the first time. Once you do, you’ll discover that there are people ready to meet you where you are—with compassion, respect, and real solutions.

MOA2A can connect you with the right local resources, whether you need immediate help or just someone to talk to about your situation.

You qualify for assistance if you are a pregnant woman who:

  • Wants to carry your unborn child to term
  • Is a United States resident who lives in Missouri
  • Makes less than 185% of the federal poverty level
